Happy Birthday Makeupstore!

This fall, the amazing brand Makeupstore celebrated their 15-year anniversary as a makeup-brand. I personally LOVE Makeupstore, and I have a range of different products from the brand, and I love most of them! Their products are available in most of the countries (capitals) and if you haven't tried their products you definitely should! On the video above, you can see the whole show that they hosted just a few weeks ago, to celebrate that Makeupstore has been a running company for 15 years! AWESOME

Review of Makeupstore's ''Sheer Lipsticks''

These two lipsticks from Makeupstore have I been using now for about a year (or I bought the first one a year ago and the second one approximately a half year ago, sooo interesting, right? lol.) They are quite affordable (£12,5/each), which is a lot more cheap than Chanel, YSL, Dior, Lancôme etcetera etcetera. But are the differences between these two kind of price-groupes that big? I'd say, definitely! At the current moment I have one lipstick from Chanel (reed the review HERE), and the formula is just sooooo much better, honestly I can hardly compare them with each other. (''Prairie'' and Exit'' )

You can buy Makeupstore's lipsticks in either Sheer, Matte, Transparent and Shimmery. These two that I've are Sheer. The colours that I've bought are called ''Prairie'' and ''Exit'' and you can see the swatches on the picture above. The orange/reddish colour is called ''Prairie'' and it looks just gorgeous during the summer when you got a tan. I personally look better in warm lipstick-colours, so I prefer ''Prairie''. The other shade called ''Exit'' is probably most appropriate during the autumn/winter/spring's, just because it's a very cold colour if you know what I mean.

Which shade of these two do you prefer? As you see, the lipsticks are more ''dry-looking'' than the Chanel lipstick that I've and I really do not like that it looks like the Sheer lipsticks from Makeupstore are ''bleeding'' if you know what I mean. They are highly pigmented though, and you only need to dab a tiny amount of the lipstick on your lips to have this look that I've created. It's totally enough, right?

It's definitely not anything wrong with the lasting-power of these lipsticks though. They last for approximately 3 hours on me, which I find absolutely OK, but it sucks if you compare it with my Chanel-lipstick which lasts for at least 6 hours (!!!!) on me. How amazing isn't that?? Anyway, after three hours with these Makeupstore lipsticks on, they tend to look and feel very dry on your lips. I don't like that either. BUT; it's definitely an OK product and I don't regret buying it.

I absolutely love these looks from Makeupstore's latest ''M Magazine''. I really like that the whole look is quite ''plain'', but that one part (like the eyes on the second picture, or the lips on the first- and last picture) are ''standing out'' from the variety. I personally love it, what do you think??

Bronzing: Budget-Medium-Expensive

1: ''Lumene Sun Mineral Bronzing'', this bronzing powder comes in two different shades. It's minerals (don't know if it's pure minerals though) and it has got great reviews. The cheapest one of them all too! 2: ''IsaDora Bronzing Powder'', this product is great! There's a looot of product, if you haven't seen this product I just have to tell you that it's HUGE! It's very long-lasting also and it comes in 1 shade. 3: ''IsaDora Mineral Bronzing Powder'', this was the bronzing powder I bought for a few weeks ago. It's loose powder, which I personally LOVE! The packaging is awesome and so is the product. I highly recommend this one.

1: ''MAC Bronzing Powder'', this product promises you a shimmery but natural result. It has great reviews and comes in 5 different colours, so you won't have any problems with finding the right shade for you! 2: ''Smashbox Fusion Soft Lights'', I was so close to buy this product but I didn't (don't really have any explanations for that). This product is suitable for every skin-tone, and it also comes in another palette-colour. 3: ''Makeupstore Bronzing Powder'', you can use this product on bare skin or over a foundation (as with any other bronzing-products basically). This one is available in 4 different shades.

1: ''YSL Terre de Soleil'', this is an awesome product considering that this is the only of those 9 products in this post that contains SPF (according to the web page), it has SPF 10 by the way. This will give you a transparent feeling and it comes in 3 shades. 2: ''Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Duo'', this one is available in 2 different shades. It's non-oily and makes your skin appear glowy and fresh. 3: ''Lancôme Tropique Minerale Loose'', this is also a loose-powder, which I like. It's also a mineral product so big plus for this bronzing powder. It does also contain aloe-vera which protects and helps your skin to heal. Seems great!!

New loose powder from Makeupstore!

This is what I bought a few days ago. It's called Loose Powder and it's in a colour called ''Natural''. You're using this after that you've applied a liquid (for example) foundation, and it's basically transparent, but just with some colour. This will make your face shine-free and it will make your make-up looking more matte. Without this, my foundation wouldn't look as good! It's very useful!

New lipstick in ''Prairie'' from Makeupstore!

So this is what I bought for a while ago from Makeupstore (remember the last post that I wrote?). I'm very familiar with the products from Makeupstore, I can basically promise that anything from their supply is awesome. I've atleast 10 things from that store and non of them have made me disappointed. This is a sheer lipstick and the colour is called ''Prairie''. It's kind of a peachy colour and I really love it. It's not how it looks like in the pictures though. It's more orange IRL actually and the second picture is actually the most unfair of the two of them. However, I love this lipstick and it will look AMAZING in the summer! Just let me know if you would like to see how it looks on.

Looking for good blothing products like me?

I've been looking for make-up brands that sells blothing products for a very long time now(!). The make-up market is so freaking big now that it's hard to just choose one product when there are like 10 more identical products like it. However, I suppose I'm not the only person who's looking for a product that provides sheer(?), and that's why I'm doing this post!

1: Smashbox Anti Shine Compact- is a compact product that contains a mirror and touch-ups for the day.

2: Makeupstore Blothing Powder. This is a powder that I've actually heard very good things about. You're applying this invisible powder during the day when you feel like you're having shiny areas in your face.

3: Makeupstore T-zone, which is a liquid product that I assume is ideal for applying with your bare fingers where you want to make your face more unshiny, like your T-zone.

4: Dior Long Lasting Setting Powder, is an invisible powder that you're applying after your foundation to provide shiny areas in your face.

5: Mac Blot Film, contains blothing papers.

6: Clinique Stay-Matte Sheer Pressed Powder, is a powder that's actually not invisible. It's suitable for a more greasy skin, and this will give your skin a very matte-look that will last for many hours.

7: Makeupstore Oil Blothing Paper is the cheapest product of them all. This is like the Chanel's Oil Control Tissues but much more cheap. I've to admit that Chanel's tissues looks a lot more chic than Makeupstore's but I don't think that it's really any difference between the two products (except from the price).

8: Chanel Natural Finish Loose Powder- is more a finish powder that you're applying after your foundation to create a matte finish. But I guess it's a product that's very identical to the blothing products. This provides sheer and as I said it gives your skin a matte finish.

9: Smashbox Photo Set Finishing Powder SPF 15 is a loose powder that you're applying after your foundation so your make-up will last for many more hours. This is an invisible powder. The Photo Set Finishing Powder doesn't just give your make-up a longer stay-on it also gives it a more matte look. It's oil-absorbing, so your skin won't look shiny if you're using this. It's an all-in-one powder!

10: Chanel Oil Control Tissues. This is a product for the one who wants to have touch-ups during the day. The blothing papers creates the perfect mattness and removes all the shine from your face.

Review of Make up store's ''Cover all Mix'' concealer

A few months ago I bought a concealer from Make up store, because my friend recommended it. Make up store, is my absolute favourite store of all time, as I've told you many times before:). So I thought why not?, because back at that time i actually hadn't had a good concealer. Anyway, my first impression of the concealer is that the packaging was looking great. I really like the modern look of it, and even though if all of Make up store's products basically has the same appearances. The product has a lid that you're twirling up in circularly movements. I found that very good, because it's basically important to open the lid by mistake.

However, back to the product's containments. The concealer contains three different colours and all of them are ideal for particularly spots in your face. The yellow one neutralizes read parts in your face, like shallow blood-vessels and blotches for example. The orange/pink one neatralizes blue tones in your face, like beneath your eyes, and the beige one is good for highlighting (like beneath your eyebrow) and it's also good for a base on your eyelids. I'm usually mixing the orange/pink and the beige ones together, because I prefer that colour than the orange one. But that's just my personal opinion.

For the first couple of month I applied this with my bare hands and I found the product- just fine. I wasn't as excited about the result the product gave me as my friend was. Why? Well, the product didn't really cover as much as I was hoping for. It felt like the concealer only fastened beside the pimples or the areas that I really needed to cover. It was like the concealer didn't wanted to get stucked where I really wanted it to, and it was soooo annoying, seriously.
So when I almost gave up, an idea popped up in my mind. What if i bought a concealer brush(?!), would that help or not? After some research, I decided to buy a concealer brush from Make up store. I bought a brush called ''Synthetic E/S brush- large (206)''. And I'm not exaggerating when I'm saying how much better that product became. All of a sudden, all of the areas that I wanted to get covered- got covered. I was so happy that this product finally was working out for me. This was seriously the best product- of all time!!

With a concealer brush it gives you the perfect coverage and it's just a lovely product. It doesn't feel like just a thick layer of something, it feels like a smooth product on your skin that really suits in. The only area where I find the product- not as good as the other areas, is beneath your eyes (the area where you're using the orange/pink colour). It actually feels like the product is just a liiiiittle too thick when you're using it there. Although, it's a great product as I've said and I really do recommend you all to buy it. I don't ever think I'll be able to find a concealer in that class. The only negative things about it is that you really need to have a concealer brush to have a good coverage (a concealer brush= extra money you need to spend) and also that the concealer doesn't work as good beneath your eyes.

Three new stuffs in my make-up bag!

Okay, before you all are judging me I just got to say that I wasn't the one who bought this make-up to me: I got it from my friend in a late christmas-present. However, theres one more thing that I got from her, but I thought that I could show it to you guys later, meanwhile that I'm giving you a review of that product too! Does that sound good?

However, the lilac eye liner is from Makeupstore and the colour is called ''Go Wild''. The mascara is for the ones who has sensitive eyes, which I don't know if I've but my eyes are always scratching when I'm wearing ordinary mascara so I'm going to try this one out, the mascara is called ''IsaDora Hypo-allergenic Mascara''. The brush is a syntethic one from Makeupstore and it's called ''Syntethic E/S Brush- Large (206)''. You can use it when you're applying more creamy products like eyeshadows or a concealer. I'm using it when I'm applying my ''Cover All Mix'' Concealer from Makeupstore. So that's about it, if you got any questions- just ask them in this post! :)

New stuffs!

This is what I bought yesterday! Okay, I know it's a lot of stuffs BUT- now I wont buy any make-up for a very long time(!!). The perfume is from Versace and it smells great, love it! The other things are: a pensharpener from Makeupstore, an eyeshadow from IsaDora, a eyebrow pencil from Makeupstore, a lip and eyebrow primer from Makeupstore and a brushcleaner from Kicks!

Frozen Diamond

LOVE the look ''Frozen Diamond'' from Makeupstore. The make-up is so natural and her lips are having such an amazing colour! I assume that she's wearing a matt lipstick and a lilac lipgloss. Love it!

A giftcheck from Makeupstore (of course!)

Hello again! I just wanted to show you one of the things that my grandmother gave me in christmas present. It's a giftcheck from Makeupstore (of course, I absolutely LOVE that store!!), where I can buy anything I want for 500 Sek. Thanks a lot grandmother, this WONT be lasting for a very long time haha:).

Here's a cool video that I actually found a quite long time ago (I didn't have a blog back at then) that's from the Westfield shoppingcentre in London. The makeup-artist Tania are showing very clearly how to put on a daily-makeup. I absolutely love this video, and I have to admit that I love it even more because that it's from London (I LOOOVE LONDON!) and because of the location of the video- Make up store!:)

What I'll buy next time I visit the city...

1: A pencil for my eyebrows. No 3 from Makeupstore
2: A pen sharpener where you can sharp both thin and the more thick pencils. Also from Makeupstore.
3: A spray cleaner from Kicks. With this you can remove filths from your brushes. That keeps your skin (for example) from getting unclean.
4: An eyeshadow from IsaDora. It's not a greyish pastel that I'm going to buy, it's light pink.
5: A clear gel in a ''mascara-tube'', which helps your eyebrows to stay in the right place all day long. From Makeupstore.
6: A hairpin from Makeupstore, that I'll use when I'm applying my makeup and when I'm washing my face etc..
7: A syntethic brush that I'm going to use for applying my ''Cover all mix concealer'' from Makeupstore.
